this with using fast and affordable 45/0° scanning spectrophotometers such as
X-Rite Eye-One Pro 1, 2, 3, or
Konica-Minolta
MYIRO or FD7.
MagicPrepress
application only asks
you measuring one of our dedicated TVI curves charts in scan mode, (or any of
your own test charts) on a few printed copies, after you have properly set your CMYK solid inks' densities using MagicPress application.
MagicPrepress N-CLR options
allows you computing or updating by the same process up to ten optimal
corrections curves, for matching any one to ten colors standard, with or without
a CMYK base.
Much
more than a basic dot gain calculator, MagicPrepress
does
check your average measured test print run is valid for computing valid
curves, and gives you all
appropriate diagnosis messages if it detects any problem.
You can as well create, record, communicate, and then match your own custom
CMYK or any "One to Ten inks"
N-colors print standards with or without a CMYK base.

application allows you as well checking and updating your printing forms correction curves by measuring any standard commercial
print run, which avoids you making very expensive test print runs on
continuous presses such as gravure or drum web presses.
